चंद्रपूर -येथील सरदार पटेल महाविद्यालयात गणित विभागाकडून पीएम उषा अंतर्गत जीएमसी रुसाद्वारे तज्ञांचे विचार ज्ञान आणि माहिती विद्यार्थ्यांना मिळावी याकरिता “Financial Mathematics या विषयावर एक दिवसीय कार्यशाळेचा उदघाटन सोहळा नुकताच पार पडला.
सरदार पटेल महाविद्यालयाच्या अब्दुल शफी सभागृहात हा कार्यक्रमा पार पडला. ह्या कार्यक्रमाच्या अध्यक्षस्थानी महाविद्यालयाचे प्राचार्य डॉ. पी. एम. काटकर हे होते तर अभ्यासक व जाणकार डॉ. राहुल मापारी HOD Mathematics गवर्नमेंट सायन्स कॉलेज, गडचिरोली हे होते. या सोबतच महाविद्यालयाचे गणित विभाग प्रमुख डॉ. आर. बी. सिसोदिया Asst. Prof. and HOD Mathematics व गणित विभागातील इतर सहकारी प्राध्यापक प्रामुख्याने उपस्थित होते. Financial Mathematics बाबत कार्यशाळेचे मार्गदर्शन करीत असताना डॉ. मापारी सरांनी स्पर्धा परीक्षेची तयारी कशी केल्या जाते आणि कोणत्या प्रकाराचे प्रश्न विचारल्या जातात हे समजून सांगितले. ह्यासोबतच विशेषकरून ह्या परीक्षांमध्ये गणित विषय कशाप्रकारे विचारला जातो हे देखील विविध उदाहरणाद्वारे समजावून सांगितले. त्यानंतर त्यांनी पॉवर पॉइंट च्या माध्यमातून ह्या विषयावर सखोल मार्गदर्शन केले. कार्यक्रमाचे प्रास्ताविक गणित विभाग प्रमुख डॉ. आर. बी सिसोदिया सर यांनी केले त्यांनी आजच्या युगात मॅथेमॅटिक्स चे महत्व काय आहे हे विद्यार्थ्यांना सांगितले. तसेच NCC कॅप्टन डॉ. कन्नाके सर हेड ऑफ डिपार्टमेंट इंग्लिश सरदार पटेल महाविद्यालय चंद्रपूर व लेफ्टनंट कांचन रामटेके मॅडम हे या कार्यक्रमाला आवर्जून उपस्थित होते.कार्यक्रमाचे संचालन प्राध्यापक साक्षी साखरकर यांनी केले. आभार प्रदर्शन प्राध्यापक वैष्णवी कामडी यांनी केले या कार्यशाळेचे गणित विभागातील प्रा. सुविधा चिंतावार, प्रा. काजल फुलझले तसेच स्पर्धांपरीक्षेची तयारी करत असलेले एन सी सी स्टूडेंट, गणित विभागातील व महाविद्यालयातील विद्यार्थी मोठ्या संख्येने उपस्थित होते.

Inauguration of a workshop on “Financial Mathematics” by the Mathematics Department
Chandrapur- A one-day workshop on “Financial Mathematics” was recently inaugurated by the Department of Mathematics at Sardar Patel College, Chandrapur, under PM Usha, to provide students with expert insights and information through GMC RUSA.
The program was held in the Abdul Shafi Auditorium of Sardar Patel College. The program was presided over by the Principal of the college, Dr. P. M. Katkar, while the scholar and expert, Dr. Rahul Mapari, HOD Mathematics, Government Science College, Gadchiroli, was present. Along with this, the Head of the Mathematics Department of the college, Dr. R. B. Sisodia, Asst. Prof. and HOD Mathematics, and other associate professors of the Mathematics Department were also present. While guiding the workshop on Financial Mathematics, Dr. Mapari sir explained how to prepare for competitive exams and what type of questions are asked. Along with this, he also explained how mathematics is asked in these exams, especially through various examples. After that, he gave detailed guidance on this subject through PowerPoint. The program was introduced by the Head of the Mathematics Department, Dr. R. B. Sisodia sir, who told the students about the importance of mathematics in today’s era. Also, NCC Captain Dr. Kannake Sir Head of Department English Sardar Patel College Chandrapur and Lieutenant Kanchan Ramteke Madam were present at this program. The program was conducted by Professor Sakshi Sakharkar. The vote of thanks was given by Professor Vaishnavi Kamdi. The workshop was attended by Prof. Suvidha Chintawar, Prof. Kajal Phuljale from the Mathematics Department as well as NCC students preparing for competitive exams, students from the Mathematics Department and the college in large numbers.
